Meta is bringing its platform Threads to member countries in the European Union. In compliance with EU policies, users will be able to access Threads without creating a profile. Threads, an alternative to X (formerly known as Twitter), reached 100 million users in its first week but has about 73 million active users compared to X’s 365 million. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg predicted that Threads could reach one billion users in the next few years. Instagram, which people can use to create a Threads account, has over two billion active users.Deleting a Threads account will no longer delete the associated Instagram account.
