Apple has surprised us with Qi2 compatibility on the iPhone 15, and iOS 17.2 RC release notes indicate that all iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 models will support Qi2 chargers for up to 15W of wireless charging. This means more affordable options for consumers. Qi2 was announced at CES 2023 and promises fast wireless charging for both Apple and Android devices. The WPC also suggests future iterations will raise charging levels past 15W. Expect to see a range of Qi2-compatible accessories, including some from Anker, arriving soon.
