The second highest-grossing movie of the year, “The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” will be available on Netflix starting December 3. This movie has been exclusively streaming on Peacock since early August, but now Netflix’s 74 million paid US members will have access to it. While the film is a fun trip to the Mushroom Kingdom, with Jack Black delivering a memorable performance as Bowser, it’s also extremely catchy, and audiences are warned that the “Peaches” song will be stuck in their heads for a while. Additionally, despite the success of the Mario movie, there has been no announcement of a sequel. However, Nintendo is collaborating with Sony Pictures on a live-action adaptation of The Legend of Zelda, which is considered a more risky endeavor.
