The PlayStation 5 has reached 50 million in sales, overcoming supply chain issues. It took a little longer than the PlayStation 4 to reach this milestone. Sony has outsold the Xbox Series X and S by almost three to one this year, as reported by the Financial Times. Sony sold 22.5 million units, while Microsoft sold 7.6 million next-gen systems. The demand for the PS5 is high due to Sony’s release of must-have games like Spider-Man 2 and God of War Ragnarok. On the other hand, Microsoft has focused more on pushing subscriptions to Xbox Game Pass.
