Vizio’s software update for its Home platform promises faster response times across all current models. TVs will now power up twice as fast and apps will load instantly, allowing for quicker switching between apps and streaming services. The latest OS version will also provide faster recommendations and search results in voice and text formats, aiming to reduce time spent searching for content. The update includes a new left-side navigation menu and hierarchy sorting for easier browsing. The update will be rolled out in the coming weeks to all 2021 and newer model year VIZIO Smart TVs and select TVs from the 2020 model year.
