Walmart no longer advertising on Twitter platform. The reason is because Elon Musk is causing antisemitic controversy and offending advertisers. A Walmart spokesperson told Reuters that they have found better platforms to advertise on. Other companies, such as Apple, Disney, IBM, Comcast, and Warner Bros. Discovery have also stopped advertising on the platform. A group of advertisers informed The New York Times, that their breaks may become permanent. Musk replied to comments promoting racism, and then tried to make amends at The New York Time’s DealBook event, but unfortunately made matters worse. Walmart, a big US employer and a huge company in terms of revenue, has, therefore, pulled its ads from Twitter to distance themselves from this situation.
