Apple Finally Releases Its Journal App to the Public

Apple has rolled out updates for iOS 17.2, iPadOS 17.2, and macOS 14.2 Sonoma. The key addition is the much-anticipated Journal app. Unlike third-party journaling apps, Journal offers suggestions based on iPhone activity such as photos, locations, and more. Apple hopes the app will help users reflect and practice gratitude.

In other news, Apple is selling three tablets with roughly 11-inch screens and similar designs, but with key differences in internal components and accessory support. There are warnings that new iPads could be introduced early next year, as Apple plans to update its entire lineup in 2024.

Moreover, Arc, a formerly Mac-only internet browser, is now coming to Windows with unique features such as website customization and a sidebar for bookmarks and tabs. The studio behind the controversial game “The Day Before” abruptly announced its closure due to financial failure despite selling over 200,000 copies before refunds.
