Ahead of CES 2024 in Las Vegas, Dell is introducing 14-inch and 16-inch models of the XPS lineup, both of which will feature the polished aluminum and glass design of last year’s XPS 13 Plus. The new models are named the XPS 13, 14, and 16 and include defining features such as a seamless glass wrist rest with an invisible haptic touchpad, large key caps, touch-sensitive function buttons, and thin “Infinity Edge” screen bezels.
While the XPS 13 only had two USB-C ports and no headphone jack, the XPS 14 and 16 will include three Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, a headphone jack, and a microSD card slot. Additionally, the laptops come equipped with Intel’s new Core Ultra chips, NPUs for AI work, and for those in need of additional graphics power, the XPS 14 and 16 can be configured with NVIDIA’s RTX 40-series GPUs. They will also feature variable refresh rate FHD+ screens, with OLED screen options for the XPS 13 and 14.
The XPS 14 and 16 will be lighter and have larger screens and will be available for $1,700 and $1,900 respectively. The XPS 13, which will start at $1,300, and all the other models will be available soon.
