Apple has officially released iOS 17.2, iPadOS 17.2, macOS 14.2 Sonoma, and watchOS 10.2. The new core app called Journal is the key feature, designed to help iPhone users reflect and practice gratitude through journaling. The app offers suggestions for journal entries based on activity in other apps and is end-to-end encrypted. Users will also have control over which apps can offer Journal suggestions.
In addition to the Journal app, iOS 17.2 brings support for Qi2 charging on all iPhone 13 and 14 models, as well as the ability for iPhone 15 Pro users to capture spatial video. There are also updates to Siri, Apple Music, Messages, and the Weather app, as well as an AutoFill upgrade for PDFs and forms. Additionally, the Action button on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max can now act as a quick translation tool for spoken phrases.
