Amazon has slashed the price of the Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro / Air to $199 from $299, marking its lowest price yet. The accessory transforms the tablet into a pseudo-laptop with keys and a trackpad. Initially launched in 2020, the Apple Magic Keyboard for iPad offers a seamless transition between tablet and laptop modes. It attaches magnetically to the iPad, and Apple’s software immediately recognizes it for typing and cursor control. The keys have a scissor mechanism similar to recent Mac keyboards, and the trackpad offers desktop-like cursor control and multitasking gestures in iPadOS. The accessory supports USB-C passthrough charging and is available in black and white. This model is only compatible with recent iPad Pro and iPad Air models, specifically the 11-inch iPad Pro (1st generation through 4th-gen) and iPad Air (4th and 5th generations). There is also a separate Magic Keyboard model for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, which is on sale for $299 (usually $349). Check out Yahoo’s Black Friday coverage for more deals and trends.
