To purchase a holiday gift, considering a MacBook Air could be a great option. Some configurations have dropped to record low prices, including one with 256GB of storage and an M2 chipset. That MacBook Air has a discounted price of $250 off the regular price, making it a great entry point into the Mac ecosystem. The 15.3-inch model that’s on sale also has a Liquid Retina display with 500 nits of brightness, 1080p FaceTime HD camera, and Touch ID. However, the base model only comes with 8GB of RAM, so tasks such as video and image editing, and gaming, might be more onerous. The 15-inch MacBook Air offers great battery life, terrific audio, and a top-notch keyboard and trackpad but it has a limitation of 60Hz refresh rate. There are rumors of a new chipset coming, but for now, this MacBook Air is an excellent choice. If a larger storage option is desired, there’s also a model with more storage available for $250 off.
