If you’re not in a rush, Apple may unveil new AirPods in 2024, but the current deals still offer great value.

The price of the AirPods Pro (USB-C) has dropped to $190 on Amazon. Available at Walmart, Target, and Best Buy, this is $60 less than Apple’s price and equals the all-time lowest deal. The AirPods Pro are the top choice in wireless earbuds for iOS users due to their Apple-specific features, including access to Siri and quick pairing with iPhones. A decent noise cancellation, transparency mode, and warm sound are additional advantages, but the six-hour battery life is average.

If you don’t mind using a Lightning charging case, Walmart has the older version of the AirPods Pro for a new low of $169. This model is similar to the latest one and received a score of 88 in our review thanks to its improved sound quality and transparency mode.
The second-gen AirPods are down to $80 at Amazon and Target. While it’s not a record low, it’s about $20 below the typical street price in recent months. These entry-level wireless earbuds are from 2019 and may not fit everyone, but they provide the typical AirPods features at a more reasonable price.

The third-gen AirPods offer a richer sound and longer battery life compared to the second-gen. Available for $140, these wireless earbuds are $10 to $20 cheaper than usual. While there are better-sounding alternatives, these offer haptic touch controls and richer sound, although they don’t have noise cancellation or deep bass.

The AirPods Max are discounted to $450 at Amazon and Best Buy, $30 less than the typical price. These premium headphones offer top-tier ANC, a balanced sound profile, and all the usual AirPods features. They do feel heavy, and the included case is flimsy. We gave them a score of 84 in late 2020.
