Snapchat+ Introduces AI Image Generation and Extension for Subscribers

Snapchat’s “My AI” suite offers a ChatGPT-powered chatbot, AI-generated “Dreams” selfie effects, and more for users. In the latest update, Snapchat+ subscribers can now use AI to extend images with a simple click, making the app more practical. Additionally, subscribers can directly generate Snaps by typing a prompt and can now generate fantastical portraits with friends in them using the Dreams feature. Subscribers receive one pack of eight Dreams selfies every month, while non-subscribers get a free trial pack. Snap’s AI efforts have led to an increase in subscribers, with the goal of reaching ten million in the medium term.
