Sony sold 4.9 million PS5 units in its second financial quarter, bringing the total to 46.6 million. The company couldn’t keep up with demand due to supply chain issues but production ramped up last year. Sony aims to ship 25 million PS5 units this year, with smaller models expected to boost sales. In addition to hardware, 67.6 million games were sold in the second quarter, with 4.7 million being first-party titles. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 sold 5 million units in 11 days, outperforming its prequel.
