Tetris is timeless, enduring changes and remakes over the years. Now, for the first time since its release 34 years ago, a 13-year-old boy has “beaten” the NES version of Tetris. Instead of completing the game, he played so perfectly that he caused a kill screen due to overflow error. This is not the first time it’s been achieved, as an AI program called StackRabbit accomplished this in 2021.
