Remedy’s Alan Wake 2 took home a big win, and the developer wasted no time capitalizing on the momentum, announcing free DLC set to release on December 11. The DLC will include a New Game Plus mode, a long-requested feature for fans. Additionally, Alan Wake 2: The Final Draft will introduce a new ending, accessible after completing the game in the traditional manner. Remedy promises that this ending will provoke speculation from dedicated fans.
The DLC doesn’t stop there, as new lore videos, manuscript pages, and tougher enemies will also be included. These enemies will populate a new Nightmare difficulty level, promising a different experience for players. Additionally, players who complete the game will have access to New Game Plus, allowing them to carry over weapons, charms, and character upgrades from their first playthrough.
Alan Wake 2: The Final Draft will be available on all platforms, including PS5, Xbox X/S, and PC. Fans can mark their calendars for December 11 to revisit Bright Falls. In related news, the titular hero of the game will also appear as part of a cross-promotional campaign.
