Netflix released its first “What We Watched” report, covering January to June 2023. 18,214 entries are eligible, including both original and licensed shows and movies. The spreadsheet lists hours viewed for each title and identifies the top ranked content. The action-thriller “The Night Agent: Season 1” claims the top spot, with 812,100,000 viewing hours. This is followed by “Ginny & Georgia” and “The Glory.” The top movie, “The Mother,” sits at number 20 on the list. Netflix emphasizes that hours viewed do not solely determine a title’s success. The streamer’s new biannual reports will accompany its weekly Top 10 and Most Popular lists to offer a more complete picture for audiences, creators, and industry observers.
